Derma Wand Uses
The Derma Wand has received a lot of press recently regarding its ability to help people look significantly younger. But, what precisely is the Derma Wand and does it really get results? The Derma Wand is an instrument that uses high frequency electric current to generate turned on oxygen to help reduce wrinkles and to excite the skin. It generates enriched oxygen, and oxygen kills bacteria. The high-frequency current gently excites, purifies and exfoliates the skin as it improves blood flow in the treated areas. High-frequency current has been shown to increase the absorption and penetration of products into your skin, making them better, along with increased production of collagen and elastin in the skin.
In the 1970's, EU salons discovered the cosmetic and healing benefits of high frequency electrical stimulation on the skin, and by the 1980's, it was being employed in Northern America.
The Derma Wand has a stippling activity which is like hundreds of fingers patting the skins surface at 10,000 cycles per second.
The Derma Wand promotes a deeper penetration of skin care product, causing a marked difference, compared to using wrinkle creams alone. When moisturizers penetrate into the skin they can nourish deeper into the tissue and bring about a cushioning effect. This mild exfoliation leaves the skin more receptive to moisturizers or wrinkle creams. When using the Derma Wand for about 1 minute before applying any products, more debris is eliminated and our products work more effectively. Rather than waste lingering in the skin tissue, moisturizer is taking its place.
As we grow older, our skin gets thinner, so it's more fragile and vulnerable to fine lines and wrinkles. By the age of forty, we experience a 60% increase in lines and wrinkles -- girls much more than men. Using Derma Wand together with a moisturizer doubles the cushioning effect. The enriched oxygen breathes new life into exhausted, aging skin, giving it a young glow.
Lotions and creams don't have an'activity function,' and are applied superficially, frequently with extraordinarily limited reply. The Derma Wand's pulsing action helps disperse the excess liquid, while inflating blood circulation in the area.

What does an air pump and bubble wand do for a fresh water fish tank?
Just set up a 46 gallon fresh water community fishtank and am curious about adding an air pump and a bubble wand. Does this have any benefit to the tank? Can there be too much bubble? Does this help my setup at all, excluding the aesthetic factor?
For the most part they're just decorational. The majority of gas exchange (the process in which oxygen is dissolved into the water) occurs as a result of water surface agitation (basically the water motion and disturbance your filter or powerhead creates).
The amount of oxygen and surface agitation provided by aeration devices can be considered minimal (based on the fact that you can successfully run fully stocked tanks without them). The bubbles from air pumps and wands float to the surface, where they pop and release oxygen into the air, not the water.
The only benefit they provide is if you happen to lose power to your filters or if you happen to be transporting fish in buckets or something. Basically a they're temporary stop-gap devices in these circumstances.
