How to make green beans grow big and healthy?

I have a school project that takes up 50% of my exam. We are required to plant green beans/red beans. Somehow I can't make them grow big & healthy, they end up like 0.2cm thick, and they can't stand up on their own. Maybe I should put them out in the sunlight. I need help........

If your house is too warm, the bean plant will be very flimsy and look like string without being able to support their own weight.

You have to put it in a cooler spot that also has some sunlight (but not in front of the air conditioner) to encourage proper growth. If it's around 20 degrees celcius outside where you live, you should think about putting it out. Start by exposing it to the outside for a couple of hours (or shorter if it's cold) during the day for several days. Then work your way to leaving it out for the entire day and night.

This way, the plant will be stronger and have bigger flowers & fruit (or vegetables in this case).
