Freezing time spells have been popular these last 10 years due to their appearance in films and TV shows. Exciting and appealing though they are, I'm afraid that there is no real spell in existence that can quite do this for you. Real freezing time spells are much different but ultimately much better due to the fact that you can actually see some results!

So what does a real freezing time spell consist of? Here you need to get to grips with the concept of time. So think of the timelessness of the earth. Think of all the people that have been here before you and your own, special place within the present. Imagine those who have stood on the very spot you are on now. What words did they speak and what feelings did they have? It is a connection to eternity that you want rather a freezing time spell, as this is where the true power is.

So rather than trying to change the laws of nature and physics, you will be wanting to amass and channel the power, and this is what Wiccan and witchcraft are about.

What will this give you? The essence of a potency within yourself that you have never known, an electrical charge to conduct. It will enhance your work and give you the chance to really turn around bad situations - the equivalent in terms of energies of turning back the clock. It also is good for giving you a break in life and stopping the momentum of the things you want to stop from happening.

You may have in mind some ideas for spells already, but just to give you an idea of the sort of thing you can do, I have included a freezing time spell here. Good luck!

You will need:

An item from your past such as an heirloom or something of sentimental value

A bell to 'ring the changes' in.

Something that is current to you, maybe a book your reading or a very recent photo

Something that represents the future, eg. picture of the house you want.

These are to be placed in front of you to help you visualise the energies you are calling upon and to understand the various states of time.

Say the words:

All those that have gone before me

All those that are around me

All those I am yet to meet

I call upon their energies to collect and unite.

State the purpose of your spell here, asking for help with a particular situation or what you want to achieve. It only need be a few words.

Then say:

I stand amongst this assembly of time

I am humbled in its wake

To capture the ages, I hear the chime (ring the bell)

And new beginnings make

Stand or sit for a moment to listen to the sound of the bell and connect yourself to the sound.

Wiccan Supplies Essentials Part 1

The Athame
An athame or athamé is a ceremonial double-edged dagger, one of several magical tools used in Traditional Witchcraft and other pagan beliefs and religions such as Wicca for various ritual knives. A black-handled knife called an arthame appears in certain versions of the Key of Solomon, a grimoire originating in the Middle Ages.

The athame's primary use is for ritual and magical purposes only, to direct energy; if things such as herbs or cords need to be cut, another knife called a boline - a white-handled knife - is used. An exception is the "kitchen witchcraft" philosophy, which actively encourages the use of magical tools for mundane purposes to increase the witch's familiarity with them.

An athame may be employed in the demarcation of the Magic circle rite.

As a masculine principle, it is often used in combination with the chalice, as feminine principle, evoking the act of procreation, as a symbol of universal creativity. This is a symbol of the Great Rite in Wiccan rituals. Some modern witchcraft traditions may prefer not to use iron blades, instead preferring alternatives such as copper, bronze or wood. This is most common amongst traditions that have a particular fondness of the Sidhe, to whom iron is supposedly harmful.

The Chalice
In Wicca a chalice, as a feminine principle, is often used in combination with the Athame (ceremonial black-handled knife), as male principle. Combining the two evokes the act of procreation, as a symbol of universal creativity. This is a symbol of the Great Rite in Wiccan rituals. A chalice is also used in the Small Rite.

A chalice is a symbol of the element of water, a feminine element representing intuition, gestation, psychic ability, and the subconscious. The Cup also stands in as a symbol of the Goddess, of the womb, and the female generative organs. The chalice is sometimes interchangeable with the cauldron.

Wiccan Altar Bell
Bells are like the Voice of the Goddess. When you ring one, it brings the Divine's attention to you. And your attention to the Divine.

A bell with a lovely tone will call beautiful, healing energy to you. Bells can also be used to clear energy. At the end of a ritual is a good time for this, but if unwanted energy crops up during a ritual, you can use the bell to disperse it. The purpose is that the clear tone of the altar bell will drive away negativity and keep evil spirits at bay. There are claims that evil spirits cannot tolerate the sounds of a clear high pitched bell.

Using an altar bell to call upon the goddess will ensure you are more protected during your rituals, spells, and ceremonies.

Altar Cloths
In certain Neopagan faiths, Wicca in particular, the altar cloth is placed on the altar where magical workings are performed. Many altars are patterned with pentagrams, the traditional symbol for Wicca.

Altar cloths prevent damage, dirt, and grime to form on your altar. It is always best to keep your altar clean to ensure you appease the various gods or goddesses you may be calling upon in you rituals. Keeping ones altar untidy can show disrespect to the gods and goddess, so be sure to clean your altar cloth often. Many altar cloths can be put into the wash with your other clothing whenever it is time for you to do laundry.

Altar Tiles
The altar tile is also called a pentacle is used on a Wiccan altar as a focal point for ritual work. It is commonly made of metal, wood, or clay stoneware. The tile itself is usually inscribed with the pentagram (five-pointed star) and sometimes with other symbols. The star symbol represents the four elements of earth, air, fire, water and a fifth element of spirit, as represented by the Goddess and God. The tile is positioned with the spirit tip pointing up to signify that the spirit rules over the elements.

Wicca....Remember about my door bell ringing with no one there??

Well, it's still been ringing everyday since I posted the question. Today, it rang around 5 p.m. Rang again at 7 p.m. I was a little irritated and yelled, " Will you stop it now!?" it rang again immediately after!! And, YES, no one was at my door. What do you think?
My door bell is wireless.??
I went outside to test door bell. It didn't ring when I pressed it?
Also, this is the first time it rang twice...then again, first time I held at it, too!
Sad thing is I still have to check the door when the bell goes off. Sometimes there is a delivery person dropping something off. So it works for them when they ring it.
I have to say I bought Rosemary herbs and put it near my front door under the bell and burned 2 candles of protection and absorbing of negative energy. The negative energy votive broke when the candle burnt down. I have to say, no door bell rings since!

As I said before, it could definitely be nothing. But ask yourself how you really feel about it, honestly deep down? Got hairs standing up on you? cuz that's where you'll always find your truth. Say a prayer to the Goddess (or one in particular if you have one in mind) and ask for truth to be shown you to, maybe in a dream if you're a dreamer. Have you always been a psychic person all your life? Have you known when things were about to happen? If you've always been psychic and your intuition is telling you to be afraid, I would guess it's not something to be explained away. Listen to your gut. It would not hurt at all to get a small pot of rosemary and put it on your front porch for protection. I think the situation has escalated, and in my opinion, you'd better call for help.
